A while ago, Google launched its iOS chrome version which despite having altogether different astounding features, is underperforming compared to Safari mobile browser speed and stability as we talked about it in article “Pros & Cons of Google Chrome Version For iOS”.
On rescue, the Jail break community has showed some great enthusiasm towards this new launch & hence, has started to add their own flavor to this new google app so that users can utilize its amazing features at ease.
The first tweak available to serve the purpose is ‘Browser Chooser’, this will let you set chrome version as a default browser on your iOS enabled device which means when you would open up a link from other browsers, it will show up in chrome, by default.
However, to further improve your experience with chrome, there’s another tweak ‘Chromizer’. It brings in the tabs changing animation of your iPhone to your chrome. You can also activate full-screen mode through it by just tapping three times anywhere on the display provided you have chrome for iOS open. All in all, it provides you with a smoother experience and makes your browser more effective in functioning. You can download it for free from ‘cydia’
Lastly, ‘Pull to Refresh’ tweak is something, we all are familiar with so as a further add on, this tweak has also started supporting chrome for iOS. Now you can also enjoy refreshing pages in an interesting way.
Abovementioned are the few tweaks that have come in to support & improvise chrome for iOS. With each passing day, more of such contribution has been made by the jail break community but what will enhance the experience up to a great hilt? Well, this would be unfolded in the forthcoming days.
