Pinterest App android ipad version has been launched which seems like a deliberate effort to take the app closer to people and make it more interactive by engrossing in interesting features, one of which is ability to pin via your device’s camera. As the company has introduced two device specific mobile apps, one is for Android and the other one is for iPad.
The Android app is available at the Play Store about which Pinterest says that the app lets users pin from the Web, discover content by browsing interest categories, explore pins and boards, and repin, like, and comment other people’s pins.
On the other end, the iPad specific app comprises of a Pinterest specific browser along with a pop up display which would let people know what people around the world are pinning about.
Moreover, the creators says,
“Our goal has never been to get you in front of the computer transfixed for hours and hours on end,” Pinterest co-founder Ben Silbermann said at the event, according to AllThingsD, ”it’s to get you offline.”
